Getting Started
So you've got the domain name and you have your
new hosting account from ProNetSpace. Now what?
The first thing you should do is login and explore the different parts
of your account so you know where to find resources and controls when
you need them. The following steps will take you on a quick tour of your
client area.
Logging In
1. Start by logging into your new account with
the log in details you created when you ordered.
The login page is at http://my.pronetspace.com.
You might want to bookmark the login page. (Log

Exploring your Client Area
2. Once you've logged in you will see a page
with three sections.
 |
< -- Client Information
Area and Site News.
<-- Trouble Ticket Section
<-- Hosted Domains
|
- The top section will contain your account
information and Site News. Make sure all your
personal information stays up to date. The Site
News area will contain important updates and announcement
pertaining to your account.
- The middle section contains our trouble ticket
system. This is where you go when you need help
and need to submit a trouble ticket. This area
will also show the status of any previous trouble
tickets.
- The bottom section will show a list of domains
you currently have hosted with us and the domains
status (Active, Pending, or Suspended). Click
on the blue dollar sign next to the domain to
see invoice history for that domain. Click on
the magnifying glass to see the details for that
domain.
3. Now click on the magnifying glass next to
your domain name.

4. On this page you will see your hosting account
information. Click here to learn more
about the information on this page(coming soon) or
continue your tour by going to Step 5.
Exploring cPanel
5. Next our tour takes us to cPanel. Click on
the link in the middle of the page that says "[visit
cPanel]." Note: This link will not work if your
domain has not resolved to our servers yet. You
can get to cPanel using the login details that
were in your welcom email.
6. cPanel should have opened in another browser
window. cPanel allows you to manage nearly all
aspects of your website. Some of the tasks that
can be
performed via cPanel are: create and modify email
accounts, manage your files, add subdomains, manage
ftp accounts, install scripts like shopping carts
or forums, create databases, download a backup
of your site, view your sites statistics and more.
Feel free to explore this area and get familiar
with it.
